This was the holiday that we thought would never happen. Originally booked for March 2020 the dreaded C word put a stop to that. We then attempted to rebook for November 2020 and another lockdown prevented that trip. Having waited another year it was third time lucky and we finally made it to Fuerteventura for what should have been my 30th birthday celebrations. The hair-raising drive to Playa De Cofete is one that I don't think I will ever forget, it was stunning and terrifying in equal measures.
