The Person
Well as you may have guessed by now, my name is Jack Barker and I am a photographer. I am currently based in the North Yorkshire market town of Selby and I travel all over the UK, Europe and the world taking photos. I mainly specialise in gig photography taking photos of many of my favourite bands for a number of online publications.
I have been photographing bands since 2016, however the connection between music and photography goes back event further as during my time studying at Leeds Met University I was a nightclub photographer for a number of club nights including FUEL, The Garage and many others.
While specialising in gig photography I also love to experiment with other types of photography and in recent years have built up a portfolio of travel photography while exploring the UK and visiting countries such as Canada, Spain, Poland and Germany.

The Gear
Since purchasing my first DSLR at age 19, I have always used Sony cameras. Over the years I have upgraded cameras and swapped and changed lens combinations, by clicking here you will be able to see the camera, lenses and accessories that I am currently using on a day to day basis.
