Having visited Barcelona as a child on a day trip as part of a package holiday, it has always been a city that I have wanted to revisit. To celebrate my 32nd birthday a few days late we jumped on a plane and headed to the capital of the Catalonia region of Spain. Park Güell was a highlight of our trip, however we also enjoyed exploring the city street and sampling the local cuisine.
