While I have no commercial affiliation to the brands or products mentioned below, I am passionate about the equipment I use and I strongly believe that the camera bodies, lenses and other items I use are well suited for me to allow me to continue my career as a photographer.
The Cameras
I currently use two Sony Alpha 7 III camera bodies which offer full-frame CMOS sensors and other advanced imaging innovations, which make them perfect for shooting in the low light conditions I usually find myself shooting in.
Prior to switching to the E-mount series of camera bodies I have previously used a combination of the Sony A77 II, Sony A77 and originally the Sony A230 camera bodies.
The Lenses
Since switching to Sony E-mount cameras I have used a combination on Tamron and Sony lenses, usually in my camera bag are:
- Tamron 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD
- Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD
- Tamron 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD
While I also have a Sony FE 200-600mm F/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens that is mainly used for wildlife photography.
Other Gear
I am a big fan of Peak Design products and use their Everyday Backpack V2 and Cuff wrist straps on an almost daily basis.
Other gear that I could not survive without are the BLACKRAPID Blackline II Double Strap which is vital for times when two cameras are required, and the Lowepro Tahoe 150 backpack, which is smaller than my Everyday Backpack V2, but most importantly, complies with low cost airlines small bag policies which makes travelling around Europe a lot cheaper.
